Rachel Johnson
Flourish Founder
Hi, I'm Rachel – creative thinker, compassionate advocate, and founder of Flourish. I'm passionate about making wellbeing truly accessible, especially for those navigating neurodivergence, trauma, school can’t, eating difficulties and disorders. I especially love supporting families and young people through these journeys and have been doing this for almost three decades – yes I am THAT OLD!!!
When I'm not working, you'll find me spending time with my family, trying to turn my black thumb green in the garden, or styling my home—and Flourish! I bring heart, humour, and a whole lot of curiosity to everything I do.
I care deeply about our entire Flourish community. I spend time building supports and exploring funding options to make your experience as welcoming and healing as possible. If you have ideas for improvement, or want to share your glimmers and achievements, I’d love to hear from you!

Brooke Griffin
Mental Health Clinician
Hi I’m Brooke, I enjoy working alongside children, families and neurodivergent individuals to strengthen relationships and support wellbeing across the lifespan.
I'm particularly passionate about parenting approaches that nurture connection, emotional safety, and co-regulation, and I'm trained in both perinatal mental health approaches and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and neuroaffirming, with a strong focus on supporting people in ways that align with who they are and how they experience the world. Outside of the therapy room, you’ll usually find me getting my hands messy with pottery, out in nature, or sneaking in a swim whenever I can.

Cheya Clarke
Mental Health Clinician
Hi, I’m Cheya, a lover of all things crafty and sporty, and passionate about working with neurodivergent young people and those navigating disordered eating. I take a neuro-affirming approach in my work, and I love using music, crafting, and even farm animals to help people feel safe, connected, and truly themselves.
I’m all about creating spaces that feel warm, playful, and emotionally safe. Fun fact: I’m obsessed with nachos and writing to-do lists… but not so much with actually doing them! I welcome all referral types and look forward to supporting individuals in ways that feel affirming, creative, and grounded in genuine connection.

Samantha Wright
Dietetics Clinician
Hi, I’m Sam – Accredited Practising Dietitian here at Flourish. I’m client-focused at heart and love walking alongside people as they explore food, body trust, and wellbeing in ways that feel safe and sustainable. My approach is all about collaboration and curiosity, making nutrition something that supports your life rather than controls it.
Outside of work, I enjoy experimenting in the kitchen, reading a good book and keeping active through sport. Life at home is never dull thanks to my playful German Shepherd, Luna, who always makes sure I get plenty of fresh air.
What matters most to me is helping people feel comfortable and understood. I bring empathy, practicality, and a little bit of fun into my work so that together we can find strategies that genuinely fit into your life.

Daniel Pietryka
Mental Health Clinician
Hi, I'm Daniel – social worker, creative soul, and wholehearted advocate for neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+SB young people and their families.
I believe that mental health and wellbeing should be accessible, affirming, and tailored to the beautifully diverse ways we experience the world. My work is grounded in celebrating lived experience, and I’m especially passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported—on their own terms.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me crafting something with my hands, experimenting in the kitchen (successes and disasters equally welcome), or hanging out with my dogs—avid backyard dwellers who take great interest in my gardening efforts, who have a talent for devouring anything remotely edible. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a playful enthusiasm for all things geeky.
I care deeply about building inclusive, responsive supports that reflect the real lives of the people I work with. I’m always exploring ways to make services more welcoming, more flexible, and more human. If you’ve got ideas, feedback, or just want to share a moment of joy, I’d love to hear from you.

Hello, I’m Tarin and I am one of your first points of contact when you get in touch. I bring creativity, warmth and a whole lot of heart to my work, and I love helping make sure things behind the scenes run smoothly so that your experience with us feels welcoming and easy.

I care deeply about the Flourish community, and I’m here to help however I can whether that’s answering your questions, helping with bookings, or simply being a friendly voice on the other end of the line.

Peter Johnson
Operations Lead
Hi, I’m Pete. I provide Business Support here at Flourish which means you’ll often find me sorting out our finances, applying for tenders, and tackling system challenges to keep everything running smoothly. You might also catch me lending a hand on the Therafarm or spending weekends working on renovations to make our space even better.
With a strong background in agriculture and business, I bring both practical know-how and a steady, solutions-focused approach to overcoming barriers. My goal is always to make sure things work well behind the scenes so that you can have the best possible experience at flourish.
Beyond the spreadsheets and strategy, you’ll often find me watching the cricket, casting a line on the water or soaking up the wilderness.

Winnie
Super Therapist & Four-Legged Ray of Sunshine
Winne is not just a therapy dog, she’s a four-legged ray of sunshine with a tail that wags like it’s powered by joy. With her soulful eyes, gentle heart, and uncanny ability to sense when someone needs a little extra love, Winne brings warmth, comfort, and a whole lot of fluff to everyone she meets.
Most mornings, she bursts through the door with the zoomies, sometimes leaping straight into laps with uncontainable excitement. As the day unfolds, she settles into her loungy groove—drifting between naps, snuggles, and spontaneous visits to therapy rooms (she’s even been known to open the door herself!). She’s a little bit ADHD, a little bit zen, and 100% heart.
Whether she’s lounging beside someone during a tough moment, offering a paw of encouragement, or trotting around with her signature goofy grin, Winne’s mission is simple: to make people feel seen, safe, and supported. She’s a master of snuggles, a connoisseur of treats, and a firm believer that every day is better with a belly rub.
When she’s off duty, Winne enjoys chasing lizards, napping in sunbeams, and snuggling under feet. She’s the heart of our team—and we’re paws-itively lucky to have her.

Shayne Langridge
Allied Health Assistant / Admin Support
Hi, I’m Shayne. I’m one of the first friendly faces you’ll meet when you connect with us at Flourish. You’ll usually find me at the front desk with a big, warm smile ready to welcome you in or out and about with the wonderful therapy groups working on fun projects.
I’m a vibrant, bubbly, and super creative soul who’s all about making genuine connections and creating spaces where everyone feels safe, seen, and celebrated just as they are. After years of working with young people, I’ve discovered my true passion in supporting others, and I’m so proud to be part of the magic we create together at Flourish.
Alongside our incredible admin lead, I’ll be one of your go-to people for all the little (and big!) questions. Whether you have a million things you’re curious about or just one, no question is ever too small and if I can’t answer it in the moment I will find the right information for you. I’m here to make things smooth, supportive, and welcoming from your very first hello. As an allied health assistant, I build meaningful relationships with our flourishers and alongside our clinicians I plan and prep all the fun activities we do together.
When I’m not at Flourish, you’ll find me chasing the sun at the beach, out on a boat fishing, happily at home with a paintbrush in hand or curled up with a good movie.

Bridget Ash
Mental Health Clinician - Independent Contractor
Hi, I’m Bridget! I love bringing creativity, colour and care into my work with children, young people and their families. I’ve spent many years working across both school and community settings, and I’m passionate about creating spaces where kids and teens feel safe, supported and celebrated for who they are.
I really enjoy collaborating with parents, families and schools to build understanding and find practical, compassionate ways forward; especially when things feel tricky or overwhelming. I believe that meaningful change happens when everyone around a young person feels connected and on the same page.
I have a particular passion for working with neurodivergent kids and teens, and for supporting families navigating “School Can’t” and other school-related challenges. My approach is creative, flexible and affirming - I love finding playful ways to help young people reconnect with confidence, curiosity and joy in learning and life.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me spending time with my family, using my laser printer to make fun projects and gifts, or pottering in the garden listening to a good playlist. I love any excuse to get creative; whether that’s in my work, my garden, or a new craft idea that’s caught my eye!

Tiegan Holtham
Mental Health Clinician - Independent Contractor
Hi, I'm Tiegan, a Darwin-born Clinical Psychologist who loves working with individuals and families across all ages. While I have a particular passion for supporting people impacted by feeding and eating disorders, I also have extensive experience helping young people and adults with a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, mood difficulties, trauma, and relationship challenges.

Kate Beadman
Mental Health Clinician - Independent Contractor
Hi, I’m Kate. I’ve called the Top End home for over 20 years, drawn in by its strong community spirit, deep connection to land and culture, and relaxed way of life, though I’ll admit, the heat still keeps me on my toes!
I’m a Social Worker, Play Therapist, and Counsellor with a deep commitment to neuro-affirming, trauma-informed practice. I primarily support children aged 3–11 through play-based therapy, creating gentle, child-led spaces where they can explore emotions, build emotional literacy, and express their experiences in ways that feel safe and natural. Play, art, and creative expression are at the heart of my work because they honour each child’s unique way of communicating, free from pressure, expectation, or judgment.
In addition to working with children, I support adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges, neurodivergence, and eating disorders. My approach is strengths-based and person-first, respecting each individual’s autonomy, communication style, and sensory needs. Advocacy is central to my practice, I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and celebrated for who they are, without being asked to mask or conform to neurotypical norms.
My work is grounded in compassion, connection, and co-regulation. I strive to create spaces where people feel safe to show up as their authentic selves, where healing, growth, and hope are nurtured at a pace that honours each person’s nervous system and story.
