Rooted in the principles of Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), this group supports emotional healing, resilience and relational safety through guided practices, shared learning and compassionate presence.

Content:

1. Cultivating a Compassionate Inner Voice: Participants learn to respond to their own suffering with kindness, wisdom, and courage—building an inner voice that soothes rather than criticises.

2. Understanding the Brain’s Emotional Systems: Gentle psychoeducation helps participants explore the brain’s threat, drive, and soothing systems, and how these influence emotional responses and patterns of self-criticism.

3. Flexible, Inclusive Practices: Mindfulness, breathing, imagery, and compassionate memory exercises are offered in ways that honour each person’s sensory, cognitive, and emotional needs.

4. Safe & Supportive Group Connection: The group fosters authentic relationships through shared experiences, gentle reflection, and mutual respect—allowing connection to unfold at each person’s pace.

5. Addressing Shame with Compassion: Participants are supported to gently explore and transform experiences of shame and self-criticism using evidence-based strategies and compassionate guidance.

6. Strengths-Based & Trauma-Informed: Facilitators create a space where each person’s strengths, values, and lived experiences are honoured—supporting healing and growth without pressure or judgment.
