Planning For Your First Visit
Stepping into The Flourish Collective, you can expect a compassionate and inclusive space where every part of you is welcomed and celebrated.
The intake process includes an initial consultation, where practitioners gather insight into your unique needs and goals.
A welcoming space to share, grow and feel heard
Your Initial Consultation
During your intake session, we’ll ask thoughtful questions to get a complete picture of your needs, preferences, and goals. We approach these conversations with warmth and respect, always at your pace.
Adjustments to Support Your Time With Us
We want your experience with us to be as comfortable and accessible as possible. You’re welcome to let us know about any adjustments that would help, such as:
Comfort with animals onsite – let us know if you’d like to avoid spaces with therapy animals.
Lighting preferences – bright, dim or natural light options.
Mobility needs – ability to use stairs or preference for ground-floor rooms.
Parent/guardian-only appointments – if you’d like a session with just a parent or guardian present.
Your comfort and needs are our priority, and we’re happy to accommodate wherever possible.

For children and young people, therapy is a collaborative process involving parents or caregivers.
Flourish does not see young people in isolation, as this can place undue pressure on them. As individuals grow older, support structures may evolve based on circumstances.
