Our Intake Process

At The Flourish Collective, we believe that great care starts with geniune connection. From your very first conversation with us, we take the time to listen, learn and ensure we’re the right fit to support you.

Personalised care begins with understanding you

Step One

Your First Connection

Once your referral is accepted, you’ll be offered an initial intake call or session. This is an opportunity for us to hear your story, understand your goals, explore your preferences and learn about your needs and hopes for the future.

Step Two

Matching You Thoughtfully

We are a transdisciplinary practice, which means we don’t match people to professionals based on a job title or qualification alone.

Instead, we carefully consider each clinician’s experience, knowledge and therapeutic approach to connect you with the person best suited to support your unique journey.

All members of our team are referred to as clinicians, rather than by profession (e.g. dietitian, OT, psychologist), to reflect our collaborative and person-centred approach.

Why Relationship Matters

Research consistently shows that the most meaningful predictor of a successful therapeutic experience is the quality of the relationship between you and your clinician - not just their credentials.

At Flourish, we prioritise both connection and competence - ensuring you feel safe, heard and supported by someone with the right skills and the right heart.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, care or creative approaches to complex needs, our intake process is designed to welcome you in and walk beside you - with warmth, respect and purpose.
