The NTG Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides free, professional, and confidential counselling services to support the wellbeing of Northern Territory Government employees and their immediate families. The program helps individuals navigate personal and workplace challenges with care and expertise.

NTG Employees and Their Families

The NTG Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is designed to promote mental health, resilience and positive workplace relationships. Whether you’re managing stress, dealing with personal issues, or facing challenges at work, support is available in a safe and confidential setting.

Who Can Access the Employee Assistance Program?

  • All NTG employees

  • Immediate family members (current partners and dependants)

How It Works

Accessing the NTG Employee Assistance Program is simple and discreet. Sessions are fully funded by NTG agencies, and your participation remains confidential. You can self-refer at any time, making it easy to get the support you need when you need it.

    Free and Confidential

    All sessions are funded by NTG agencies. Your participation is confidential and not reported to NTG.

    Session Access

    Employees are entitled to an initial allocation of 3, 5 or 6 sessions (depending on the department you work with.) Additional support may be available.

    Self-Referral

    Employees can self-refer by contacting us with you AGS number and Department.
